Barry Schwartz Ted Talk

"Barry Schwartz: The way we think about work is broken."

Barry Schwartz Ted Talk made me think why we as humans work. This has been a conventional task humans have done since the early ages. The simple answer is for money, however the answer is beyond that. We can change the way we view society through our thoughts and ideas.
We as humans work because the technology of ideas continue to advance. Although, incentives make the task much easier that does not change the fact that we may enjoy some part of it. Doctors, Priests, and nuns work. When you think about each of these persons, money is not what first comes to mind. A doctor who works for money will be a poor doctor,  and a Priest who works for money will not care about the livelihood of his people. This too goes for workers of any job. The jobs people work may be tedious to some, but too that individual it is an idea of technology. As stated in the video poverty oppressed individuals rise in revolt, poverty due to inadequacy individuals shrink in despair, and poverty because of God’s will individuals result in prayer. This is because of the social science we adhere to.
